  • To showcase new apps and tools that we use effectively in our classroom.
  • To achieve our target for compulsory badges (10)

How can you earn a badge?

This year (2025) all DIeP teachers needs to complete 10 compulsory badges. you can still complete any of the existing additional badges as well. The difference is that you will have to supply proof of how you used it effectively  in your lesson or classroom.

Once you know that you fulfill all the criteria for the relevant badge, and have uploaded all the POE (proof of evidence) to your Gdrive folder, notify your ITE to allocate the badge to you in the badge tracker.  Simple as that!

How can I get badges for old/new tools and apps that are not listed here?

All the old badges are still available to claim as additional badges. You can level up by showcasing how you have used an old badge in a new innovative way on your classroom! If it is a brand new tool or app, come and showcase it at the Teach meets. You may also still laim the badge as a founder. The teacher who first introduce the badge and use the app in their classroom become the founding badge owner. To claim it you must

  • Let us know that you want to claim it (only after you have used it in your lesson and it works well)
  • Write the criteria for the badge (how other teachers can earn the badge)
  • Ask your ITE to create the Badge post for others to refer to and provide a video (e.g. YouTube)
  • The Team will add the badge to our Badge tracker and you will get double points for your badge.
