
If you have not attended the Flipped Classroom workshop, please work through the webinar material in the Flipped classroom webinar (see below) and complete the questionnaire about flipped classrooms. You then can proceed to create your Flipped classroom lesson plan and implement it in your classroom with the assistance of your ITE.
Check how many of the following criteria you have already mastered! If you need assistance with any of the criteria, please book a one on one with your ITE. Remember, You have to see your ITE at least twice a month for some inspiration or to assist with your DIeP lesson.

The criteria for the Flipped Classroom Badge is as follows:
Please make sure that you can do, have done ALL of the items below. If you need assistance, please ask your friendly ITE for help you. You have to be able to:
- Attend the Flipped classroom workshop (or did the webinar and questionnaire) and complete the Happy sheet (bit.ly/TTThappy)
- Design a lesson plan (with the support of your ITE) for YOUR classroom and CAPS/ATP topic, making sure that it is learner centered, and have the 4 Cs build in (collaboration, creativity, communication and critical thinking)
- Does your lesson engage your learners and grab their attention?
- Is there a feedback loop build in?
- Is there consolidation of learning?
- Have you used various technology tools to seamlessly to support your lesson?
- Make a copy of the lesson plan template (bit.ly/dieplessonplan), complete it for your flipped classroom lesson and upload to your G-drive folder.
- Create a curriculum "classwork" video for your learners to do in the computer lab (or at home)
- Do your flipped classroom lesson with your class.
- Give them the lesson video to work through (at home or in the computer lab with the ITE)
- Do the "homework" part in the class with groupwork, worksheets, assessment fun (Kahoots, self marking tests etc)
- Reflect on what worked, what did not and how you can do it better. (Add to lesson plan reflection)
- Claim your Flipped classroom Badge
