Kahoot!, Kahoot!, Kahoot! At Fraaisig Primary School, innovation in education is always on the horizon, students embarked on an exciting journey with Kahoot! here in the computer lab.
Grade 3s Dive into Kahoot!
The adventure began when Ms. Steyn and Ms Tomè, the dynamic Grade 3 teachers, introduced Kahoot! to their eager students an online learning platform, allows teachers to create interactive quizzes and games that make learning engaging and fun.The students were initially drawn in by the vibrant colors and catchy music that Kahoot! offers. Little did they know that this tool would soon become a staple in their learning experience. Ms Steyn want to incorporate kahoot into her Afrikaans and Maths as well. Ms Stroebel has had a kahoot with her unit class as well and they loved it.
We ITEs took the initiative to empower teachers with Kahoot!. We organized a TTT with all the teachers here at Fraaisig and now the teachers are incorporating it into their daily lessons. The ripple effect of Kahoot!'s introduction into Fraaisig Primary School didn't stop at Grade 3. Teachers across different grades and subjects began incorporating Kahoot!
Kahoot! has transformed the way lessons are taught and learned at Fraaisig, proving that education can be both enjoyable and effective when technology is harnessed for the benefit of students.
What an excellent and exciting resource! I don’t know who enjoyed “Kahoot! -ing ” more, me or my learners! Kahoot! introduced a different way of learning and teaching. It is so interactive and fun! I chose to do an introduction lesson on planets and the next day when we spoke about planets again they remembered all the facts from our Kahoot! lesson. The lesson also gave learners who usually struggle in class and the “quiet” learners an opportunity to “win”, this really boost their confidence.
I would highly recommend using Kahoot! !
