I am Mrs Ambrosia Pheiffer. A Grade 3 English Home language teacher at Fraaisig Primary school. I am also the Grade 3 grade head for the year 2026.

I am a mentor teacher for Hornlee primary school.

After joining the KILT DIEP teacher program in 2024, I’ve seen the new door for learning and teaching open in my classrooms. Not only does teaching with technology make learning fun, but it creates an opportunity for me to prepare my learners for a world full of possibilities within the 4th Industrial Revolution. It allows me to make my learners eager and curious to be apart of my lessons.

As an foundation phase teacher, working with learners who needs the extra encouragement to enjoy learning, I would recommend all teachers to not see it as an extra, but just as AI, an friend to enhance my teaching. The use of tech take differentiation to a different level, because now learners from different ability groups get to enjoy school.
