Hello everyone, my name is Brandon Bernard Jantjies. I am an educator and school technician based in Knysna, where I teach Grade 6 and 7 in both English and Afrikaans. My dual role bridges the gap between traditional pedagogy and modern classroom infrastructure, allowing me to approach teaching with a highly practical, tech-forward mindset.

Currently, I am serving as a mentor teacher for Thembelitsha Primary School. As a mentor, my primary goal is to help fellow educators integrate digital tools into their routines to genuinely elevate their teaching, rather than adding to their workload.

By utilizing AI tools like Microsoft Copilot alongside hardware like the Parrot Graphic Tablet, I can significantly streamline lesson preparation, automate repetitive administrative tasks, and deliver highly engaging lessons for my learners. Even utilizing advanced features on mobile devices allows me to easily produce high-quality video content for school events. Technology is not about flashy distractions; it is a practical utility used to reclaim our time so we can focus our energy directly on our learners and their academic outcomes.
