Welcome to our holiday training for our Vocational Focus learners!! Your friendly ITEs will be guiding you through your workshop topics. Have some fun!
You will be able to earn a virtual badge and a global certificate for each of the topics: email and Internet, Word and PowerPoint. Make the most of the workshop time to complete all the activities and get started on working through the course material for your certificates. Apart from earning your certificate which will look good on your CV, every completed badge will enter you into the draw for a prize at the end of the year!

Don't forget to email your certificates to your facilitator and Nonqaba and upload all POE Please go into your school link and upload all activities in your POE (proof of Evidence) folder as well as your completed your Global certificates. If you do not have access, ask your ITE to grant you access to your folder.

In order to stay safe on the internet, you must create a strong password with numbers or any symbols on your password but make sure you don’t forget it and also you must not share it with anyone . Another safety rule is do not save your login details on a device that does not belong to you to prevent someone from invading your privacy.
in order to create a good digital online footprint you must post positively on your accounts, keep a clean record of your background and delete anything that might get you reported online. By doing so, you’re keeping a clean record .
There are many ways one could use in order to be safe on the internet. You must have a strong password so that no one can hack into your account. Always be careful when using a public WI-FI. Always keep your personal information private do not share it with anyone. And last but not least always back up your data.

To be safe on internet you must not share your google account password or save your password in a computer or device that you are using .It is not safe because the a so many phishing outside.
To create your digital footprint you must not share all your personal information about yourself in the internet . You must delete account that will damage your reputation.
HOW TO BE SAFE ONLINE: You must be able to create a strong password and your password must not be something as obvious as your name , do not overshare your information on media. And with whatever you are doing you need to make sure that whatever site you are on is secure.Consider additional protection whether you protect your apps with whatever you feel like is strong enough to protect your apps . Watching out for your links and all the attachments you ran into while doing whatever you were doing .
HOW TO CREATE A SAFE DIGITAL PROFILE ONLINE : Keep aware wherever you may go and whoever you may run into along the way , do not talk to strangers and you must be vigilant of the people surrounding you. Then you can never go wrong with creating a safe online digital profile.
