Game 1: The Big Show-Off

All DIeP teachers have to create a presentation (in any format), to showcase how they have used technology in a DIeP way in their classrooms this year. You have to make sure that your presentation is in your POE (Proof of Evidence folder) ready to be showcased. We will use the random name picker to choose teachers to present their offerings in an hour period. You only have 3 minutes to WOW us! Everybody present, will then vote for their favourite presentation taking all the DIeP criteria into account. The teachers with the most votes win!!!!

  • Participants: The wheel will choose!!
  • Time 3 minutes each
  • Vibe: Jaribaaaaa and DIeP
  • Preparation: Get your "how I used Technology in a DIeP way in my classroom presentation ready and share with us by Thursday (6 June)!

Game 2: App smashing

We are looking for brave contestants to showcase particular apps or tools that they love using in their classrooms to make learning meaningful and fun. As we can only take a maximum of 10 contestants, we are asking that you volunteer beforehand. If there are more than 10 volunteers, we will use the random wheel to choose different apps and teachers. App smashers will then present and demonstrate their app(s) in 3 minutes in a random wheel order. All delegates will then again get an opportunity to vote for their favourite apps based on our DIeP criteria.

  • Participants: 10 app smashing volunteers (contact your ITE or Lyndie to enter or state that on your registration form)
  • Time 3 minutes each !!
  • Vibe: Jaribaaaaa, DIeP and (h)appy
  • Preparation: Create a slideshow of your fav app(s), how you use it and why it is your favourite. Smash it up!!!! Submit to ITE and Lyndie by Thursday 6 June 10am.
