It is time to showcase our achievements at our bi-annual Teachmeet, and we are looking forward to seeing what all our DIeP teachers have been doing with technology in their classrooms. This event is a compulsory target event for all our DIeP teachers, so please make sure that you bookmark the date and RSVP. Attendance is worth 200 points towards our e-learning leader board, so book now!

Instructions for Teachmeet

• Schools must embrace a Team-theme to wow us with, and you can bring some extra support along (2 points each for non-diep teachers). Please just book! You will sit together!
• Each School DIeP team will get a chance to showcase what they have done in their classes with our strategies, SAMR, TPACK, the 4 C's and incorporating some cool tech. (5 minutes per school team) and the multigrades will combine as a team (with some lovely collaboration 🤗) How DIeP did you gooooooooo?
  • Prizes: Each winning team member will receive some cool tech and an extra 30 points per teacher. (2nd place: 20 points/teacher, 3rd place: 10 pts/teacher)
  • All team presentation links to be supplied on Tuesday the 3rd of June COB.
• We will choose 5 Appsmashers (based on their presentations and rubric) to present, and they will compete against one another for the top prizes
  • All appsmash presentation links to be supplied on Tuesday, the 3rd of June, COB for evaluation.
  • They will strictly have 3 minutes to present.
  • Prizes: R750, R500, R250 vouchers as well as 100 extra points for first place, 50 for second place and 30 for third place and 20 for the remaining 2 contestants.

• All Badges completed by the 3rd of June will qualify for the Random Badge wheel.
