Digital Safety is about making safe, responsible choices online. It involves protecting personal data, staying alert to scams, interacting respectfully, and being mindful of shared content. Practicing digital safety ensures secure navigation of the digital world, promoting privacy and a safer online experience for all.

The criteria for the Digital Safety Badge are as follows:

Please make sure that you can do ALL of the items below. If you can't do it, please ask your friendly ITE for support. You have to be able to:

• Watch all assigned videos
• Review the provided PDF materials.
• Complete all activities and submit the corresponding certificate into the POE folders.
• Explain the following concepts
  • Digital Wellness and safety
  • The key pillars of Digital safety
  • Viruses, Malware, trojans, ransomware, spyware, worms, phishing, cyberbullying, deepfakes, identity frauds

1. Register for an account on the GFCGlobal platform
2. Complete the Internet Safety GCFGlobal course. Make sure that you make notes as you go along. Watch the videos and complete the tasks within the course.
