It is time to showcase our achievements at our annual Teachmeet 2025 Grande Finale, and we are looking forward to seeing what all our DIeP teachers have been doing with technology in their classrooms. This event is a target event for all our DIeP teachers, so please make sure that you bookmark the date and RSVP. Attendance is worth 200 points towards our e-learning leader board, so book now! Instructions for Teachmeet

• Schools must embrace a Team-theme to wow us with, and you can bring some extra support along (2 points each for non-diep teachers who want to be part of next years cohort). Please just book! You will sit together! (maximum 8 people)
  
• Each School's DIeP team will get a chance to "Graze the stage" showcasing and illustrating in whichever format chosen (e.g. roleplay, storytelling, skit, dance, song etc), the story of what it means to go DIeP (the Good, the Bad and the Ugly - 5 minutes per school team) The multigrades will combine as a team (with some lovely collaboration 🤗)
  • Prizes: Each winning team member will receive some cool tech and an extra 30 points per teacher. (2nd place: 20 points/teacher, 3rd place: 10 pts/teacher)
  • All team themes to be submitted by the 27th October.
  • Our Criteria for team presentation
    • It must be fun (for us and the team) /10
    • Demonstrate team work and all team members are involved (/10)
    • Incorporate/illustrate DIeP principles or moments in some way (SAMR, 4C's, TPaCK, strategies..) /10
    • Incorporate tools and apps (in any format) /10
    • Stick to time limit /10 (5 minutes)
    • Educational value /10 (Do we learn something?)
    • Theme table presentation /30
    • Overall performance of team /10
    • Jaribaness factor /10
      
• All Badges completed by the 24th October 2025 will qualify for the Badge wheel.
  • Compulsary badges (1 entry per teacher per 10 badges)
  • Additional badges (5 badges = 1 entry)

App- smash Category

• We will choose 5 App-smashers (based on their presentations and rubric) to present, and they will compete against one another for the top prizes.
  • All app-smash presentation links to be supplied by Monday morning , the 27th October 10am.
  • They will strictly have 3 minutes to present!
  • Prizes: R1000, R750, R500 vouchers as well as 100 extra points for first place, 50 for second place and 30 for third place and 20 for the remaining 2 contestants.

Best e-lesson

This is our top prize and will be pre-judged before the event. Choose your best e-lesson from the ones you have done this year, tweak it to make it the best lesson ever, and submit with evidence to our judging panel by Friday 24th October 2025 COB. The judges will be someone who do not know you or your school and will purely go on the evidence before them. They are all experts in educational technology use. It has to have:

• A detailed voiceover "selling" the lesson (PowerPoint /slideshow+ voiceover = video) and taking us through your lesson.
• Your completed lesson plan and self evaluation rubric
• Evidence from your classroom (photos, videos, worksheets, Kahoots, Tiktok/reel etc)
• Your Jaribaaaaness.
• All of this must be updloaded into your Gdrive folder. Please name your evidence folder "Your name Teachmeet e-lesson"
