
Flippity is an online tool that turns Google Sheets into interactive activities and games. It allows users to create flashcards, quizzes, word searches, and other educational activities with ease. By simply modifying a Google Sheets template, users can generate engaging, customizable learning tools that are ideal for both teachers and students. Flippity offers a variety of templates for different purposes.
Make sure that you upload all your Proof of Evidence (POE) to your school (G-drive) folder for us be able to officially award your badge. Ask your ITE for your folder link. Check how many of the following criteria you have already mastered! If you need assistance with any of the criteria, please book a one on one with your ITE or work through the how to tutorials for Flippity.

The criteria for the Flippity Badge are as follows:
Please make sure that you can do ALL of the items below. If you can't do it, please ask your friendly ITE for support. You have to be able to:
- All basic skills, including:
- Ability to set up a Flippity account and access templates
- Understanding how to use Google Sheets to create and manage Flippity activities.
- Understanding how to publish and share the activities.
- Creating various types of activities (e.g., flashcards, quizzes, word searches, and timelines) using Flippity templates.
- Incorporating multimedia elements (images, audio, etc.) into activities.
- Have you uploaded a lesson or classroom related material into your school G-drive POE folder? Then you are ready to....
Badge Activities
Activity one (ALL)
- Register for an Flippity account
- Complete 1 Flippity activity by integrating your classwork into one of the 30 template options.
- Screenshot .
- Save it in your POE folder with the file name flippitybadge_YournameYoursurname.pdf e.g. flippitybadgeMaggieVerster.pdf.
- Upload the screenshot and link to your flippity to your school (teacher) folder (ask your ITE for the POE link).
- Create a worksheet or subject related document for your DIeP lesson and add to your POE folder. (teachers)
