What is the Vocational Focus Project?

The Vocational Focus Project represents the ongoing chapter of the Scholarship Project. Operating within three high schools—Knysna Secondary, Percy Mdala, and Concordia High School—the program includes 20 learners in each school, comprising 10 from grade 11 and 10 from grade 12. Spanning three years, the initiative provides comprehensive support throughout grade 11, grade 12, and the first year at tertiary level.

Who qualifies to be part of the program?

To be eligible for the program, learners must:

  • Be South African citizens.
  • Study pure mathematics and achieve a code of 3 or higher.
  • Enrol in Physical Science with a code of 3 or higher.
  • Pursue accounting and attain a code of 3 or higher in Mathematics.
