Flippity.net is a quick easy to use tool with lots of variations. The aim of this training assignment is to:

  • Get to know all the Flippity tools better!
  • Create Flippity tools with your teachers for their learners (specific grade, subject, topic) that can be used by the other teachers.
  • This activity will also count as a one on one TTT session with your chosen teacher. So make them sign your lab sheet and complete the happy sheet (other: Code flippity).

Activity 1: What to do:
1.1 Make sure that you are fluent in Flipppity!! Go play!

1.2 Go and add your name to an available Flippity tool sheet here: (if the tool is taken pick another one)

1.3 Go to any one of your teachers (pick a teacher) and ask them for subject revision material to turn into your chosen Flippity tool (flashcard, quiz, word search, etc) using flippity.net and the given google sheet template:

1.2 Then create it for them so that you can show them how to do it for themselves and use it in their classroom. (Think about how you will assist them to turn the subject content into a Flippity tool, using your allocated tool. (flashcard, word search etc) when you present them with their tool gift.)

1.3 Complete the tool information in the Flippity tool sheet. Link up the topic by highlighting and copying (CTRL-C) the tool link in this step:

1.3 Don't forget to make your teacher complete the Happy sheet (bit.ly/TTThappy) on completion of your training session.

Deadline

This assignment must be done (at least the tool submission) by 9am Tuesday the 13th.

Points criteria

  • 10 points for the Flippity tool and completing the Flippity sheet correctly.
  • 10 points for the one on one session with the teacher for you and the teacher (it also counts as a training session for the teacher- they have to do 5)
  • 5 points for the teacher for completing the happy sheet.
