The first day of the trying we were introduced to the company and its culture. I also met the other IT enablers we did a speed dating so that we could know more about each other. What was nice about the first day was the role play.
The following day, I received more detailed training on the company's products or services, as well as its processes and procedures. I had to do a PowerPoint presentations about who I am. Our tech support also gave us some educational information about computers.
Throughout the week, we had opportunities to ask questions and clarify any uncertainties and I took some notes , so that I can retain the information and refer back to it later. I met the Senior ITEs too.
Overall, the goal of the week training was to help us new employees feel welcomed and confident in our roles, and to ensure that we have the knowledge and resources they need to be successful in their new jobs. The training was so informative, exciting and I had so much fun.
