Edonova-Kilt Knysna is delighted to welcome our new team of IT enablers into our KILT schools here in Knysna. These 20 young people, starting their learning journey with us, have been hand-picked for their enthusiasm, computer skills and their ability to wow us this year.

Edunova's ITE year long learnership programme, not only support our KILT schools, but also provides our champions with training opportunities, workplace skills, personal and professional growth possibilities. During this 12-month learnership period, our ITEs will receive:

• Training in Microsoft office applications, basic PC technician and Facilitation Skills.
• Training in coding and robotics.
• Training in the use of various tools and apps.
• Soft Skills Training (Project Management, Teamwork, Time Management, Financial Management, etc).
• Work experience in a school PC Lab and ICT integrated classroom, with the support of a mentor

This group of ITEs are sponsored by Johnson Mattey, an international environmental manufacturing company.

Our new ITE recruits are currently undergoing basic training to equip them with the skills and knowledge they will need to run a school lab and support elearning in our KILT classrooms.
