My name is Zimkita Ndevu started my journey as an IT Enabler in August 2021 with little knowledge about computers. At the time, I knew only the basics, but I was determined to grow and learn. Through hard work, dedication, and a willingness to embrace new challenges, I transformed myself into a confident and skilled computer user.

In my early days, I focused on understanding the basics of computer systems, learning how to navigate different programs and applications. I started with simple tasks like typing, creating documents, and sending emails. These foundational skills gave me the confidence to explore more advanced areas of IT.

As time went on, I took on more responsibilities. I learned to work with spreadsheets, manage data, and use software to solve problems. My ability to adapt and learn quickly became one of my greatest strengths. I attended training sessions, sought advice from experienced colleagues, and practiced daily to improve my skills.That is when I got ann opportunity to work with programmes such as Scratch, Powerpoint, Word and also teaching the learners how to use internet.

By 2024, I was no longer just learning; I was enabling others. I helped some of my colleagues with IT-related issues, shared tips to make work easier, and encouraged others to embrace technology. I also got an opportunity to work with the teachers as well.

My journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the belief that growth is always possible with effort and a positive attitude. I am proud of how far I have come and continue to set new goals for myself, proving that learning is a lifelong journey.
