Geogebra Badge

GeoGebra is an interactive mathematics software used for learning and teaching geometry, algebra, calculus, and other math topics. It provides tools for graphing, geometry construction, and 3D modeling, making it ideal for students and educators to explore mathematical concepts visually.

Make sure that you upload all your Proof of Evidence (POE) to your school (G-drive) folder so that we can officially award your badge. Ask your ITE for your folder link. Check how many of the following criteria you have already mastered! If you need assistance with any of the criteria, please book a one-on-one with your ITE or work through the how-to tutorials for GeoGebra.

The criteria for the Geogebra Badge are as follows:

Please make sure that you can do ALL of the items below. Please ask your friendly ITE for support if you can't do it. You have to be able to:

  • All basic skills, including:
    • Use Geogebra applet directory to choose suitable simulations for your lesson.
    • Using GeoGebra's geometry tools, draw a basic shape, like a triangle, circle, or rectangle.
    • Add a slider to change a variable and observe its effect.
    • Measure the length of a side or an angle.
    • Use the drag tool to move a shape or point.
    • Save and share your project as a file or link.
  • Have you shared a link to the Geogebra simulations in your lesson plan and uploaded all evidence to your school G-drive POE folder? Then you are ready to apply for your Geogebra badge (ask your ITE to record it)
